In-situ field testing was conducted on Allen’s Trading Complex building in Gisborne, which was badly damaged in the 2007 Gisborne earthquake. The testing included: in-plane push over test, diagonal split test, nine bed joint shear tests, testing wall section in out-of-plane (as-built condition and retrofitted with Near Surface Mounted CFRP strip). Also, six wall sections were cut and craned out of the building, and transported to University of Auckland.
