Area of interest: Rehabilitation of RC and masonry sructures using advanced composite materials, analysis of repaired and rehabilitated R/C structures and performance-based seismic design. Umut is involved in quasi-static, pseudo-dynamic and dynamic shake-table testing, complimented with appropriate analytical and numerical modeling.
